BARBIE LISS is a Certified Life Coach and has a BA in Psychology; she is an Energy Healer, Speaker & Advocate for Restorative Justice and Societal Healing, and is currently doing her Masters in Counselling Psychology. 

Barbie challenges conditioned societal perspectives, heals generational wounds and gaps, and shifts individual mindset ~ teachings gathered along a personal story of healing and self reclamation following a toxic marriage and the secondary trauma experienced after her daughter’s assault.

Barbie guides women to heal old wounds, release stories that no longer serve, and claim the power of self.  She meets with you in the space between life chapter changes, and guides you to walk with empowered resilience through life's transitions.  

Barbie brings her clients to embody the power of their wisdom and to rise in self-love and acceptance. She embraces the knowing that it’s never too late, that endings offer beginnings, as she offers her clients a loving space to become all that they are here to become.

A heart centered space holder for Women, Barbie lovingly guides women to shed shame & shatter fears associated with aging, and to walk with resilience and empowered self-love into creating gorgeous next chapters.

My Story  

I am a 60 year old divorced, Jewish Mom to three amazing adult humans, mother-in-law to others and currently returned to University to complete my Masters in Counselling Psychology

My story became known when my daughter’s sexual assault case become the first in North America to conclude with restorative justice. 

Since then, I have coached hundreds of women to claim voice, value & worth, and walk with resilience to empowered self-love, as they cross thresholds through life chapters.

My healing journey, my Life Coaching career and my advocacy, led me through a path of questioning and studying societal conditioned messages, to become the ANTI~anti~aging Coach.  

Today, I am an UNteacher of societal messages and a perspective shape-shifter, bringing women to claim their power and ability, vibrance and potential at every age and stage.

ANTI~Anti~Aging

Barbie is the ANTI~Anti~Aging Coach.  

She coaches and advocates for the reclamation of the Wise Woman Archetype and the celebration of the power and voice of our older generations. 

In thought provoking conversation, Barbie shares through story, how her experience of secondary trauma after her daughter was raped ulitmately led to her launching her ANTI~Anti-Aging Movement.

Looking deeply into internalized societal messages and their impact on individual and collective levels, Barbie was ultimately led to a heightened awareness of the damaging anti~aging messages and the impact on society.

Barbie brings awareness to the ways in which anti~aging messages run deeper than skin level.  She offers conversation on how absorbed narratives have led to fear and denial, rather than celebration and pride. She offers how this has created a lack of the Wise Woman Archetype in our society, and the cultural effects of her absence.

In mindshifting and empowering discussion, Barbie offers notions of potential and possibility, of visibility and value, as we undo societal messages and rewrite templates of what it means to get older.  Allowing our older generations to walk with empowered pride  into claiming our seats as Matriarchs of society, and to lead by empowered example for those who walk behind us.

Restorative Justice

In 2016 Barbie’s daughter was raped.  In 2019 hers became the first sexual assault case in North America to conclude with Restorative Justice, where Barbie, her daughter and 5 others met in an 8 hour RJ circle, face to face with the her assailant.

Barbie advocates for Restorative Justice and offers heartfelt discussion, provides education on the premise and principles of RJ and its healing benefits, both in the punitive system and in our daily lives. 

She shares about our punitive system and speaks with passion about how their circle brought together healing and justice.  She shares how it looked deeply into patriarchal damage, and offered validation and empowerment to her voice.

Barbie offers thought provoking evidence and opportunity for mindset shift.  She shares ways in which we can replace cycles of hurt, with opportunity for healing and transformation. She offers how we can create change rather than perpetuate repeated patterns.  

Barbie brings enlightenment to forgiveness and compassion as catalysts to change, leaving people with feelings of hope and possibility.  She brings lightness to what would seem dark and allows people to walk away feeling hopeful and ready to be part of the change we wish to see.
